** ALL CISD related wrestling teams will get issued competiton uniforms by the school. If your wrestler is on the Middle School team or High School team this gear is EXTRA and OPTIONAL
Purchasing DYW Team gear/uniform is completely OPTIONAL, but encouraged for team spirit.
*If your wrestler is in the 4th grade or older it is encouraged (but still optional) to try to
compete at USAW tournaments. If they compete, then they will need a singlet.
Singlets can be customized with your LAST name on the back (otherwise left blank) (+$5)
Orders are shipped directly to your home by Takedown Sportswear.

Please read below before ordering singlet
1. These singlets run a little small in my experience. Sizing is based on weight. If your child is at the TOP of the weight range I would go UP ONE size. This also allows for growth and potentially longer use.
Example: My son weights 86#, by the chart he would take a YL (75-95#). He likes the fit of the AXS better, as the YL is a little snug. . If you like it tight or are on the bottom of the weight range go by the chart.
2. You have the OPTION of putting your child's LAST NAME in cursive font on the back of the singlet. There is a $5 charge for customizing. If NO last name is added in the order, then the back will be left BLANK.
You also have the OPTION to get a Women's/Girl's cut singlet instead for NO EXTRA fee.
3. It is Mandatory to wear a singlet or official doublet uniform to compete in USA Wrestling tournaments. You can also wear it when we have unofficial practice with other teams.
